Walgreens Prescription Savings Club - Includes Pets!

Walgreens is offering a special discount for those wanting to take advantage of their annual membership Prescription Savings club!  For $35 a year, the family membership would cover everyone in your immediate family as well as your beloved pets!  This plan also includes up to 20 dependents!  That's a lot of dependents!  When you join, you’ll receive discount prices on your prescriptions.  If you just want to add yourself to their savings plan then it is $20 a year for individuals.

For more details, I would suggest visiting your local Walgreens and speaking with a pharmacist. I think it’s great that they include pets in on this.  You never know when they too will need a prescription.   We have cats and (knock on wood) they've never had urinary tract problems but even something as simple as an antibiotic for that would be a good example of how the plans discounts could come in handy when it comes to our furry relatives. 

I also like that whether you rely heavily on prescriptions throughout the year or not , you can still gain rewards in the form of lower prices on Walgreens brand products which I assume also includes any over the counter medications.  I've tried a few Walgreens brand foodie items and even things like Walgreens brand mouthwash, and I'll be honest, it's very comparable to name brand.  If you are already enrolled in the Walgreens Prescription Savings Club, I’d love to hear your thoughts on how it may be working out for you and your family?
